My Fair Lady (1964)
This is an American musical film adaption of the original 1913 stage play by George Bernard Shaw. The films shows a poor Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle who starts up a conversation with an arrogant phonetics professor Mr Henry Higgins, who bets that he can teach Eliza 'proper' English allowing her to be presented to high society London.
I really liked the costumes in this musical and it enabled me to see in detail the cut, shape, and pattern of the Belle Époque style thanks to Cecil Beaton.
